Lberger, are you really comparing "opening doors for you" and "putting the toilet seat down" to "not raping you"? You think men say "Well, I held a door open for you, guess that means it's OK to rape now"?
And yes, people DO say rape victims were "asking for it" - by their clothes, or their makeup, or by the simple fact they went to a party. THAT is what anti-rape rallies are for - b/c victims don`t get nearly the support they need and deserve.
@BlackHaze Certainly it is terrible that children get murdered, but no one says "Well that kid deserved to get murdered, that`s what you get for living in a 3rd world country". There ARE rallies for murdered kids and nobody boos them. Rape victim rallies are just asking for the same courtesy. It is self-importance, but it is not unwarranted. If your mother was raped by a stranger I hope you would feel the same rage.
I wouldn't say we`re accusing women of being angry for being raped; I think it`s just over-reaction. Nobody on this thread will say that women were asking for it, or that rape isn`t a bad thing. What we`re on about is the fact that ANTI-RAPE RALLIES EXIST. I mean really?? Is there really that much support for rapists that we need a rally against them? Why don`t we have an anti-murder rally? In my opinion, this whole idea is just asking to be trolled.
You women really need to decide what your role in this life is, because you can`t be touting the feminist "strong women" image and still expect us to open doors for you, leave the toilet seat down and care about anti-rape rallies.

@slbtiger No, we're on about the self importance of women. Sure, rape aint fun, but there`s WORSE things.
Women always go off about rape as it`s the worst thing that can happen to ANYONE. Stop being self important, we know women get raped. We also know thousands of children are getting murdered each day in 3rd world countries.
Of course, this aint as bad to you, cause it can`t happen to you. Self important little mean person.
