Before we signed we did run everything as credit since fees are nuts and it was just easier.

Regardless, nobody ever sees the signature, so many people like to have fun with it and doodle random poo. ------- Yea youre wrong. Business's make people sign regardless of credit or debit status. FOr the business, it`s simply cheaper than to go for the much more secure route of chip and pin.

I asked to see their ID, then told them we could not accept the card because the signatures did not match. Asked to see my manager, who backed me up. Granted, we have both been accused of being arseholes - not that we disagreed with the statement, mind you. One of the prerogatives of owning one's own business.
