Or is their death enough? No, I am not joking. It`s a serious question. The passage in the Koran explicitly states 100 lashes as a direct order from god. So it`s not clear that death is enough reason to stop. You also ignored the theological dispute within Islam as to whether the appropriate punishment for having sex without the approval of the authorities is torture that might kill the victim (whipping) or torture that will definitely kill the victim (stoning). It isn`t clear which Islam requires.

Which is true of a very wide variety of whips, including many that would kill the victim with far less than 100 strokes. Your best defence of your religion is a false statement that the torture you advocate for sex without the approval of the authorities is less torturous than it might seem to be. Not much of a defence.
