People are also laughing at America because they have a massive obesity problem, but they also have loads of really REALLY ridiculous things which don't help them combat the problem, but in fact make it really easy for people to over eat and over drink and consume shed loads of calories, and pump food full of things like sugar which give you hunger pangs and want to eat more... it`s a vicious circle, which you can all see but do nothing about. THAT is why people laugh at FAT and STUPID Americans - this does not mean all Americans are fat and stupid, but the ones who are, that is who the rest of the world laugh at.
