2012 Pres Candidate Rick Santorum Q&A w/Students. Skip to the 2-minute mark for his rant against gay marriage. Don`t think he`ll make the cut for 2012.

@BigDaddyJeff - 'they want their fair share`, of what exactly? Being a couple and loving each other - wow, stamp that out then.

"[...] then use it to sue churches that stick by their guns and refuse to 'marry` them."
This is where it becomes obvious you`re just pulling things out of your ass.
Any church can refuse to marry any couple for any reason whatsoever. This is guaranteed by the First Amendment, even. What would be illegal is if the couple went to the courthouse and were denied a marriage license.
I think the problem here is that most people don`t realize that there are two definitions of marriage that are carelessly being interchanged here. On one hand, you have the religious definition, and on the other hand you have the civil definition.

For myself, I'd like this jerkweed to elaborate on how 1 man, 1 woman marriage is reflected in nature. Then, I`d like to know why government has an interest in a contractual arrangement between private citizens that involve housing, finance, and procreation- er, I mean marriage.
