I'll take the word of an Imam over an internet know-it-all on the meaning of a word in the koran. When he told me of this occurrence, it was alright in his eyes, since aisha supposedly had started her menses. I made my own judgement from there.
Thanks for trying.
Maybe you`d like to try a rebuttal of something I`ve written?
You don`t know what the word in question is and you wouldn`t be able to read it if you did, so why are you claiming to know what it means?
You`ve found one person who agrees with you. I don`t consider that proof that you`re right.

You might get as far as thinking about the word "consummated", so I'll deal with that first.
The passage was, obviously, written in Arabic.
"consummation" is a translation into English.
"consummation" means "completion".
It can be used to refer to the completion of the marriage started by betrothral (which is a partial marriage, not at all like an engagement).
In England centuries later, it implied sex as that was what completed the marriage there and then.
It`s a common mistake in etymology to assume that the meaning of a word in one place at one time is exactly the same as the meaning of the word in a different place at a different time. That is often not true, especially for secondary implied meanings.
Assuming that it`s an accurate translation in the first place, which it might or might not be.

mohammed was 48 when he was betrothed to aisha who was 6. They married at 49 / 7, comsumated at 51 / 9. What else would you call a 51 year old man having sex with a 9 year old girl? Child molester fits perfectly here.
I know that you can read, because you must have read the first few words of my post.
So how about you read the other few lines of it, which contain the explanation? I realise that reading may well be difficult for you, but you're going to continue looking bad if you continue replying to posts without reading them. If it`s a real problem, get someone to read to you.
Here`s the key points, spelled out carefully for you:
There is no statement of Mohammed having sex with Aisha when she was that young.
Marriage in the past was often arranged purely for financial/political/social reasons, especially when wealth/status was involved, and did not imply sex.
So, as I said, there`s no evidence that Mohammed was a
