Here in the States, if you can't afford to at least tip 10%, then you can`t afford to go out to eat. Especially at MIMI`S.

It's just different for different countries, why is that so hard for people to understand? We don`t tip here in Australia ether, well I will only tip if the person gives out of the ordinary service. But in America they need tips because they get paid so low, but it`s different here. My ex used to work as a waiter and he was paid $28/h, he didn`t need tips. It`s not about us being "cheap f*cks", it`s just tips are not relied upon here, it`s a bonus if you do a good job.
I paid my way through college as a server so I didn't work for nothing cause in the US we aren`t tightwads and it`s considered politeness unless service was not good. I`ve only been stiffed a few times cause I busted ass you should try it sometime. As for people who never tip YOU ARE REMEMBERED AND TALKED ABOUT BY ALL SERVERS!

I can't believe that servers remeber the tips, you should be concentrating on the quality of the service, only through that will you get a tip. Bad days is bull, when I worked in a restraunt, I could be completely grumpy by the kitchen but as soon as I walked out into the seating area I smiled. I wouldn`t tip a mooody or bad mannered person, so why shuld anyne expect that? Tips aren`t mandatory, when the server gives you something extra you give them extra money, simple. Subushie you don`t seem like a person I would tip, so maybe you should work on your service instead of presuming them a tight.
