The last sentence of the article: "The next step, Mr Alm told the Austrian news agency APA, is to apply to the Austrian authorities for pastafarianism to become an officially recognised faith."
For Pastarfarianism to become a recognized faith would undermine its entire purpose. Before long people will start taking it seriously.

I`m not seeing any story here. He wore an odd bit of headgear, his face was fully visible and so he was allowed to get his license. He forgot to pick it up for three years.
