@Fml- I don't know. He did address the fact that space exploration had slowed down, and that we have a lot of work to do right here on Earth. The thing that really gets me is that we`re cutting funding to the Space Program, but our government is definitely NOT addressing the greatest threats to the well-being of human beings or the planet (as if those two things can really be separated).

obama knew he couldnt make it as an astronaught, so the selfish prick shut down the shuttle program. But it isnt exactly the end of the space program, nasa is now looking into deep space exploration and collaberating with russia to leave orbit. Plus, they have yet to announce the details of the heavy lift program which will be run by the private sector in another "space race".
