ok i am a math nerd and i have this to say - yes pi is the circumference divided by the diameter but when you go into all of the equations nobody thinks of pi as the number 3.14 instead they think of it as the rotation. when you rotate a strait line to form a circle the strait line is the radius not the diameter so half of the circle is pi and the full rotation is 2 pi .so really the 2 does not go to pi it goes to the radius to make it the diameter

Wow, it doesn't really make a difference, but the part about radians is rather helpful although it`s easy either way.... Lol.
