We've had pictures on our cigarette packages for years in Canada it`s not some act of "big brother" over stepping boundaries.

I would usually agree that people should have the right to do what they want, but do you know many smokers I know that wish they never started? I`m not saying these pictures will do it, but if it saves one life what`s the harm?

It is my official opinion that the government has way overstepped their boundaries. Not only do they enjoy the outrageous taxes from such products a picture will do no justice to convince the public otherwise. While an educated public is good people are still going to make choices counterproductive to their own health for their own enjoyment. I'm not saying people should smoke but I think people have the right to do what they want providing they are willing to take the risk and pay the price.

haha, they're already like that or worse in england golden virginia especially.. doesn`t put me off theough because i`m too hardcore X) .. also i have strokes running in my mothers side of the family, seems to only effect men. :/ oh well life goes on

The truck driver might be doing something useful, even essential for civilisation. Smoking is just a junkie having a fix. It's not comparable.

Besides, you may have noticed a small amount of attention given to environmental issues recently.

Smoking is the only drug use that can legally be forced on other people. It`s unfairly and massively privileged and that should be stopped.
