I never said skateboarding was easy, it obviously takes skill to do it well. I just think that, skilled as they may be, many skateboarders display a "Mommy Look at me!" attitude. Bottom line is that as long as they keep giving me the impression of being smug, idiotic jack arses, that's what I`ll call them. Some of them may be kind, intelligent and considerate people who will save the world, but that`s not how they act. Fair is fair, after all. Even though I am the smartest man in the world, I don`t act like it, so I don`t expect anyone to acknowledge my greatness.
