Three years ago, I took a leave of absence from life. For over a year, I Hitch-hiked all through the USA and Canada. I stayed the longest period of time(4 months) when I was in Austin, Texas. The tales are as tall as the wild west movies but in truth, Texas is just fine. FULL OF FINE PEOPLE. I can't wait to go back and meet the friends I`ve made there!

@Davymid - you are right on about the absolving of the Old Testament laws and how Christians still yet cling to them. The OT laws were meant to be a lesson in futility. They were written by men (thus why they are also known as the Mosaic Laws), and look how many various and sundry laws there are! Then, God took those laws into His own hands and showed that He could do better than man by covering all the same ground in 10 simple commandments. When Jesus was put to death, He not only suffered the penalty for breaking commandments, but the old laws died with Him, leaving only the 10 commandments to remain. Notice, there is no commandment, not one, against homosexuality. Anything a human can do to willfully hurt another human is covered in "Love thy neighbor as thyself" (so, pedophilia which is psychologically damaging fits in there). God's Law is perfect, encompassing all things. If He really, truly, abhorred homosexuality, it`d be in there, and it`s not.
