@drworm2002 If you were an honest citizen and happened to be pulled over and your next month's mortgage payment is in your car and the police confiscate your money , you could fight it and get compensation for damages and they fail to explain that they pull over speeders and the concept of probable cause

@bullseye. That is bullpoo. First of all. Unless they have warrant...never give them permission to search. And there is not law that says you can't have $200,000 in your car. Just cause you have that much money it`s no right to do that to people. I hate that argument, if you have nothing to hide you shouldn`t worry. I just like to be left alone and don`t want some d!ck bothering me.

I hope this story has caused a Sh*tstorm in Tennessee. Two police forces competing with one another? Confiscated monies should not be going to specific police forces but into general state revenues so that all Tennesseans benefit.
