The poles aren't melting down.

Just as a heads-up in case you`re still reading this, I`m goin to hold you that. You up for the challenge?

Davy: What you would've been correct to say is "....corrupt criminals that faked scientific data."

Global Warming is the biggest science fraud of the century.

You were skeptical of the May 21, 2011 doom date, but you aren't skeptical of some profiteering hypocritical pseudo-scientists ?

Wow. You really just compared belief in 21/5/11 to the belief (in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence) that our global climate might be affected by 7 billion humans on the planet? And climatologists are pseudo-scientists? Whatever dude, this thread is old. See you on the next one.

Davy: "By the time we see who is right, it'll be too late."

The problem with scaremongering is that when your predictions don`t happen you have to keep revising them and then eventually you shift focus onto something else to scream, "the sky is falling!" about.

You were skeptical of the May 21, 2011 doom date, but you aren`t skeptical of some profiteering hypocritical pseudo-scientists ?

If all the predictions these types screamed about in the 60s and 70s had come true we`d already all be dead by now. I`ll cite some from the past: New Ice Age, Overpopulation, Global Thermonuclear War, Run Out Of Oil By The Year 2000, Ozone Hole Growing, Smog, Acid Rain, Global Flooding, and many more that have not came true.

If mankind ever does face disaster, it won`t be by our own hands, it will come from forces in our own planet.

Please note Davy you used the word meteorologist, NOT climatologist. I provided the evidence, now you try to sidestep it.

Climatologists are mainly government sector jobs, Meteorologists are private sector jobs.

If your a climatologist and you can't show the government that there is anything of concern, then your funding (aka paycheck) gets cut. Please tell me who in their right mind would tell their boss that their job isn`t necessary ? Answer, Nobody.

Meteorologists, however, are privately paid and the better they do their job, generally, The bigger TV markets will hire them for a larger paycheck.

Also, You`ve been scare mongered by corrupt people and are perpetuating and spreading the `chicken little` baloney to others. Our kids will still be able to see polar bears, they are not going extinct. The poles aren`t melting down. Hurricanes are not growing in number or severity. If you were a truly objective scientist you would be more skeptical.
