@jtrebowski- ok, so no proof I'm wrong.
To clarify, being born in this country gives you citizenship, and the possibility of dual-citizenship may also be extended by the country your parents are from, NEITHER of these are equivalent to being a natural born citizen as is required by the constitution. As it stands with the proof in his birth certificate, he is an American citizen , but not a natural born citizen.(depending on his time at school in Asia as Barry Soetoro, he might not even be a citizen... another issue all together which hasn`t been cleared up due to a lack of paperwork provided)

@16comets09: If it is proven that he is not a natural-born citizen then every bill he signed to law as president should be overturned.

The layering was explained on the 1st or 2nd page of this thread.

It's routine for scanning paper documents into a computer-based system because if you don`t do it that way all you have are a lot of pictures that can`t be searched by humans or computers, i.e. are useless, or you have to manually input all the data on every document by hand into a database and use that instead.

Layering is routine, a side-effect of the combination of scanning and OCR to convert the printed data into a machine-readable form.
