Let's see, I`m on a 4-year-old Mac, running Tiger, and it still operates nearly as efficiently as it did when it was brand new. Whereas a similarly-aged PC, as I can tell you from past experience, would be full of suck. If you`re going to use your Mac forever the way I`m doing, it`s well worth the price tag. It`s only the poor suckers who upgrade every time Apple puts out something shiny and new that get ripped off.

Yeah - don't buy a mac, just spend $100 a year for new Windows OS, another $XXX to upgrade all your applications that are no longer compatible and thousands of $$$ on system support and data recover because your computer sucks and is slow....
