"office 2003 really? Get with the updates"
So, yesterday, I was called into the office of the VP of a client company... VP: "Can you tell why this linked spreadsheet won't update." Code: "When I OK`d that for use with the ERPDB, it was for 2k3, not 2k7... ...the value is updated in the db... ...What SP does Office have?" VP: ... (2 minutes) Code: ... (3 more minute) SysAdmin: ... (1 minute) Code: ".... found it!!!" VP: "They are suppose to get better at this, not worse." Code: "Don`t heckle the super villain..."
Try this: Show an expert 2K user that has never used Office 2K7 a fresh, unused instance and tell them to print. Time how long it takes.

office 2003 really? Get with the updates
I prefer 2003 for everything but Excel. Plus most of the companies I know held off on the upgrade to vista and it wasn't until 7 came out that most companies started proper upgrades.
As of 2011, I had to make sure my old company had all documents in 2003 compatible files just because so many companies we work with were still using it.
And these are not little companies we`re talking about, we`re talking about banks and megacorps most people here would recognize, including some tech companies.
