If a parent gets Irate, you ask them to leave the bus. If they do not comply, you call the police, period. After this, you are not allowed to talk to the parent.

Brassbull Male, 30-39, Southern US 1608 Posts	Friday, April 15, 2011 11:24:14 AM There was a term in the Navy, pretty sure it was called escalation of force, which said you could only use equal or lesser force against a threat, i.e., you couldn't use a 9mm beretta against a guy with a stick, but you also had to use all possible lesser weapons against him. This was within reason as well; you didn`t have to use pepper spray if the threat was shooting at you. The cops seem to be tasing people left and right who aren`t compliant. I know cops deal with a lot of poo but I don`t think it would have taken a hostage negotiator to get that woman off the bus. Definitely didn`t need 20 cops yelling at her at the same time.
