[quote">i think i've read somewhere that wikipedia saves your ip when you edit and if you abuse teh free editing rights they ban you or something.[/quote">
Most people have dynamic IPs, so that`s impossible.
[quote">Besides highly searched topics would be quickly spotted if they were incorrect and would probably be as quickly corrected.[/quote">
Nice idea, but even a ludicrously rigged study still couldn`t make up any figure better than 25% less accurate than a proper encyclopedia. That`s the study that was falsely reported as showing that Wikipedia is as accurate as Britannica when even with the most blatant and extreme attempts to rig the results still only managed to pretend it`s 75% as accurate.

Don't mind angilion, he believes that he is the only credible source in the universe.
Your much-vaunted psychic powers are failing you today.
I`ve been saying that you`re lying because that`s the rational explanation for the torrent of ludicrous untruths that spews from your keyboard.
But it`s struck me that I`ve missed another possible explanation precisely because I`m being rational. Maybe you`re insane enough to be hallucinating the things you claim you`ve seen and to genuinely believe you can read minds.
Please excuse me while I make a tinfoil hat to block out your mindreading beams.
