Not going to donate. The world is overpopulated... I don't wish death on anyone really, but I will not stand in the way of what I consider progress. Yes, I would feel the same if it were to hapen us/me.

But japan is like the 3rd largest economy... they don't need cash... they need manpower to get through the debri. We have a base full of Marines on Okinawa island off the coast. Send them in, I`m all for it.


That I agree with. Granted, they`re not specifically trained for search and rescue like this, but they`re well trained to work together efficiently, versatile and some of their equipment would be very useful.

yes, britton gives a larger "portion". But US still tops dollars.


You stated that the USA has paid for everything in the past and present ("got the check") and it's time that *Europe* started paying ("time to step up to the plate*).

Europe pays a lot more in overseas aid than the USA. A lot more overall, a lot more in terms of %age of GDP.
