*obhwfgirl, are you fuxking serious? If this isn't the first time the bigger kid`s been pushed around, good on him. This is exactly what self defense is. He removed the threat after giving the skinny kid a chance to screw off.
Good on him for standing up for himself, and the school board should be ashamed of themselves for suspending the kid being bullied.

I think it's a disgrace. We seem to punish strength and fortitude at every given opportunity. He should have gotten an award and a handshake. Something to the tune of, "Hey kid, that was an awesome thing you did there. You were angry, but gave the bully an opportunity to back off. And it was only until you saw that he would not that you decided to act and then walk away when you could have done more damage. Good for you..."
But, no... Our feeble human brains think they have a concpet of what is fair, disregarding any intrinsic, ontological value whatsoever...

Honestly, the big kid did engage in a violent act that went beyond pure self-defense. Victims can easily become bullies themselves if they take their power too far.

Honestly the four days is likely going to be a vacation for him, i'm sure his parents are glad he stood up for himself so I doubt he`ll be grounded during that time. Four day weekend WOO!
