My spouse came back from the Four Seasons Hualalai in Kona they had a nice 5 foot Tsunami and it basically flooded out the rooms and washed out everything into the ocean. The tourists are now being moved out and the Japanese want to go home today. However that went down the drain. All the flights to Japan from Honolulu were canceled for the next 48 hours.

FYI my friends at the Pacific Tsunami warning center told me that almost every island in the Pacific rim were experiencing some seismic activity. They believe the crust had an uplift in the region. Needless the say all the islands (not just Hawaii) were on edge from the tsunami. As this was the second major one in the past year. They also think this activity is not over by a long shot yet.
