I agree that the people need to take their government back from the politicians. That is exactly what the bill to remove the bargaining rights of government unions is.

The inflated benefits that have been granted to these unions is a direct payback for their help in getting politicians elected. Now the taxpayers of WI, who get nothing like these benefits or job security, are finally represented by somebody who respects the work they do earning the dollars that go to pay government workers. If the government has to BEG people to take civil service jobs, then their employees are underpaid. I doubt that is the case.

I wonder how many of the ED Majors from the University of Wisconsin who are, no doubt, involved in this protest are guaranteed a job when they graduate. I doubt very many. This is because the State can't remove the worst teachers to make room for them due to the tenure system.

End the political favors and give the power back to the people who

As someone who lives in downtown Madison and has followed the protests closely, I wonder where you receive your information from. There have been ZERO arrests for violent behavior and the protests continue to be highly organized (although an inaccurate Fox News story cited them as being violent).

Your comments about the teachers are uncalled for and almost certainly baseless. I know and have worked with many Madison teachers and I can assure you that they are not "disgraceful" in any way. Wisconsin is rated as above average for education so again I wonder where you are getting this from.

For everyone's sake, I very much hope that you are a troll and that your comments are not in earnest.

The Wisconsin union protesters are violent, messy, self-righteous, self-centred, they (with the Democrats) have shown no respect for democracy, they have broken the law and been dishonest role models to their students. There is no defending these disgusting people. I am in the UK, and know how disgraceful WI teachers are. Great impression to give, eh?

"While politicians take away working conditions ... to gi9ve money to their corporate buddies"? How about so as to not go broke? How about to save the taxpayers from funding Union political power, which works against their interest?

Whoever write this is a certified idiot. He also has no idea of the history of the strength of free people against those subject to tyranny, religious or otherwise.
