You are joking, right?

The graphics card alone in my PC has more memory and far more processing power than any console.

The graphics card in my PC is 3 generations old and isn`t even made any more and it wasn`t top of the range even when it was released.

And that`s just the graphics card by itself.

PCs are vastly superior to consoles in hardware terms. A midrange PC could *emulate* a modern console.

Consoles work well enough because they`re running a specialised stripped-down OS with far fewer overheads and games are designed for them and then ported (usually badly) to PCs, but consoles still render images at lower resolution and lower quality.

Consoles are more convenient, though, and the hardware cost is cheaper (but the games are more expensive so cost evens out after a while).
