Researchers Develop Invisibility Crystal. UK`s Birmingham University researchers develop a new cloaking device. It`s still rather small though, but it`s a start.

It would be used for warfare, no doubt. Start inventing flying cars instead!
Which obviously wouldn't be used for warfare. Aerial warfare is clearly impossible.
People have already invented flying cars. It`s not a practical concept. Even if someone invented a radical new form of engine that made it technologically practical, it still wouldn`t be practical. The death toll would be far too high. Look at how many car accidents there are and then bear in mind that even a minor collision between two planes is extremely likely to result in them both crashing. "Fender bender, no injuries and a hundred to fix" would become "two vehicles destroyed, no survivors from either, several people killed on the ground and tens of thousands worth of damage done on the ground".

So... it's an Cloaking Device that relies on the enemy only looking at you through a special pair of binoculars you gave him? And if he doesn`t use them, he can still see you??
