they weren't farmers. they had weapons. so the soldiers in the apache had to take them out. the video was intentionally cut out to stir some anti-war propaganda. if you watch the complete video, linked above, you can see the weapons the dropped into the field.

btw, war sucks. let`s hope it ends.

He says "numerous individuals"; we don't know what the context of this is. It is never established that these are unarmed people. Pilots don`t generally argue a court case during operations. You`ll need more evidence than this to declare it a `war crime`.
