this is why I have 4-wheel drive and I keep chains in my truck. You don't necessarily need them often, but when you do you they are invaluable. It also helps keep you from showing up as a jackass in youtube videos. People need to learn how to drive on ice. I know the brake is a reflex, but let it roll people, so you can control it.

im glad i slept in till 2 in the afternoon that day haha. but still when i went out everyone was driving like idiots.

@GeFelz Winter tires are mandatory in many parts of North America (esp Canada), but studded/chained are illegal, they eat up the road surface.
My opinion here... 4x4 or winter tires don't compensate for bad driving skills. Sometimes the brake isn`t your best option.

They probably do have winter tires, especially and Jeep and the Truck. Also it a lot of cities here in the US it is against the law to have studded tires, it chews up the road really bad and costs a whole lot of money.
