No nerve was hit Jereth, just my opinion.

The amount of Brainwashing that goes on in the military is utterly astounding. Some call it conditioning. Either way, you're trained to kill or be killed, and thus your view on society has become Fight or change. Not a bad thing.

The same can be said for an accountant. He works with boring numbers all day and makes a modest wage. Why shouldn`t everyone else have to be as bored as he is? Why shouldnt everyone have to clean the sewers or pick litter?

Fat and lazy, yea, we are, but that comes from developing social trends which wont be changing any time soon. What i hate is a lackluster attitude to contributing to society, thus is why im highly backing the benefit changes in the UK (On Jobseekers and refused a job? Do community service!).

Soldiers are needed (due mainly to drating religion, but thats a different argument). But so are accountants, cleaners, managers, bar maids etc. All cogs in the mechanism.
