hmmm...several person missed out on geography and science class. Considering that the ancient Greeks calculated the the circumference of the Earth and had it spot on. And sadly most to all the "flat earth stuff" originated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by people that where afaid of the technological pace of advancement (we'd call such persons technophobic by todays standards).
