Unless you want to cook at a greasy diner, become a migrant field worker, work in a meat processing plant or clean, i'm pretty sure your job is safe. Most of these people are just trying to make a better life for their families. Many come here, work hard and live cheap, then move back home to Mexico, or wherever. Its funny, the "best" country on earth is missing out on a great opportunity here. Come to think of it, we screw up so much. Instead of legalizing and regulating vice we make it illegal. Same applies here, allow people temporary work permits, tax the crap out of them, and pass laws that immediately deport anyone who doesn`t have a permit, and pass laws that stop the flow of illegal drugs from Mexico.!st offense immediate deportation with the warning that a second offense will be swift execution, being as they are not citizens, they don`t have the rights of American citizens, and could conceivably be considered terrorist(if you have seen the effects of methamphetamine

Here's a solution - we take a state that no one wants to live in (like Wyoming) and wall it off and patrol it We already have a state like that. It`s called Mexico.

Here's a solution - we take a state that no one wants to live in (like Wyoming) and wall it off and patrol it - much cheaper than trying to defend the borders. We then throw all the illegals in there; since there are less than 20 million estimated nationwide, they would have plenty of room.
Let them create their own world - harvest crops and breed animals if they want to eat, create their own barter and (eventually) economic system, build their own houses... and when they finally get advanced enough, we can set up free trade with the new State of Illegal if they want items that they can`t produce on their own.
This is the way the US was created - let the illegals come and make their own little state and sink or swim on their own.

Kasuko, even when our ancestors immigrated to America, there were certain things they had to do to be granted citizenship. I realize it's probably easier for you to dismiss seeing how it has nothing to do with your country. But if you`re willing to pay for these peoples` lack of taxes among other things, I`m sure that we could find some way for you to do that.
