Despite the intrusiveness of airport security, there are far more important threats to liberty right now. The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act, for one- which my senator, thankfully, is holding in committee to prevent it from passing this year. Plus there's the fact that Obama is continuing the policy of rendition (i.e. outsourcing torture, because somehow that`s OK), and took Bush`s abuse of executive power one step further by reserving the right to order assassinations of US citizens abroad if they are suspected of terrorism- effectively convicting and executing them without the right to a trial. All of this "outrage" about people getting their junk touched by TSA agents is just distracting people from genuine threats to personal liberty and human rights.
