he's assuming that thousands of people are spontaneous enough, not lazy enough, and have enough free time to randomly go to the house of some random chick from the internet....

i`ll admit i am an avid internet user...but if i found out that something like this was happening within five miles...i prolly still wouldn`t...i`m just too lazy...

That was incredibly stupid. I understand the point, but his scenario was stupid. 4chan and the like have done a lot of big movements, and almost none of them have resulted in a bunch of people showing up. He assumes that 6 million people are just going to show up to her house, who dont know the area? Stupid. This kind of thing would take massive organization.

He's not saying this is likely to happen, only that it can, and couldn`t 5 years ago, and is more likely to happen now than 2 years ago. It`s supposed to make you think and appreciate, not judge.
