Also, T-Marley, ever seen a .22 make a milk jug of water explode? It takes a little bit of bullet modification, but it looks awesome when it happens.

chimmeychang, hydraulic shock would cause the melon to explode in all directions starting at the entry/point of impact, then continuing on toward the exit. The particles will be ejected farther on the exit, but that's because they had some of the bullet`s momentum directly transferred to them.
