I get how it's distressing to people especially for the family. But if you agree to an autopsy then... surely it`s fine. I can honestly is would be incredibly shocking to see that but for someone who is an organ donor it wouldn`t bother me what happened to my body. I guess leaving it out in the open like that isn`t a smart idea and it is incredibly gross but it`s for study. And when you`re dead why bother caring?

the doc looks way too happy but WTF he is dead yes it horrible, but he is dead and they agreed to an autopsy. they kept the brain for research...
IF I die, I would let people poke my brain I don't really care because I would probably don`t feel a thing...

Um yeah, it seems like the Medical Examiner was doing his job properly...though I do wonder at why they needed the brain, testes and whatever else because of a car accident--though the release says they can take organs for educational purposes, i wonder what the limitations of that is. Can they take any organ they want to show for educational purposes, even if it's not directly related to cause of death?

It`s BS that people sue for every little thing. Your son is dead, who cares where his brain is? -.- (I wouldn`t care...though I have a scientifically oriented mind, as well as an athiest belief system so...yeah...)

>>the worst part i feel is: suing for emotional distress. what kind of bullcrap is that?

Exactly. This would make a good human-interest piece in any news outlet, shame the examiner, serve as a warning - but with the BS lawsuit I feel SORRY for the examiner...

I think they probably could have gotten a better brain.
