You said that as a cop others may infringe on his rights if they choose to do so. If you were to act as the woman in the film is in real life with somebody such as a secretary, you would be removed by security, in the streets if you`re doing that to a riot cop who isn`t allowed to move out of formation to just walk away from you. Obviously he`s going to have you removed from the area so you aren`t infringing on his rights or his ability to do his job.

If he doesn`t want someone deliberately touching him, then he does NOT have to justify his reasons...to ANYONE. "You are good underlings to your masters. Keep defending them and see if it helps you when you are faced with their bad treatment." I have never been treated badly by the law, even when I`ve been on the wrong side of it (and caught, and punished). Whenever I see someone complaining about mistreatment by the police, I tend to wonder what they must have done to deserve it. Because I have yet to encounter the "fascists" that others claim to have.
