Mmil928 tells it true.
I buy coffee and hot chocolate for the homeless in the wintertime. I'll buy food, veggies and fruits and give them out. I`ll buy mittens or a toque if I see someone without. My wife asks what the heck I spent $40 bucks at the Walmart or Zellers or whatever on. I tell her books, or video games or whatever. Not because she`d have a problem with me buying homeless people stuff, but I feel better if I do this stuff in secret. I don`t want praise, or laurels. I mention it now in hopes that someone might read this and do the same. Besides, posting here, you`ll never know who I really am, so I remain secret.

Oh Freddy Frog and Bowe Frog, you speak the truth. It's astounding how many people are living on the street. In Seattle alone, there are over 3,000 children who are homeless.
Here`s an idea - if you don`t like giving money to beggars, buy fruit and give them out. I like giving people apples, myself. Although I bet oranges would be good, too.
