My guess is the DA that served up the Warrant needs to be thinking hard about where they want to work after something like this... or at least it should be that way. it`s not always.

Swat team gets the order of a suspected drug trafficker. Drug dealers usually always are armed and no one wants to serve jail time. Swat breaks into house, checks their points and moves to apprehend suspect. Dog starts barking, noone knows if dog is violent or will take the owner being arrested as a threat and attack. Im not saying it was right of them to shoot the dog, but swat knows how dangerous their job is and how easily one of them can be killed. Although their job is to protect people, some may not do it as well as others. Without Law enforcement, there wouldnt be anyone there to prevent widespread anarchy. That being said, i know there is a person reading this who will be absolutely infuriated with me and for some reason that person will encourage it. I wonder though, what good could possibly come from tearing down the state? Please insert ridiculous, uneducated, comment here.
