Yes, I am familiar with the principle, and it would be devastating if the electric flow passed through his body. Thank you for clarifying. The reason I was confused is that the amount of lightning that jumps off of his shoes to the concrete (presumably to rebar or metal plumbing?) doesn't compare to the larger wave arcing from the coil to the guitar. Thinking it through, however, I no longer think it would matter, as electricity is simply a flow of electrons, and a longer path doesn`t necessarily mean a weaker flow. Ok. Makes sense now. =D
