Regie Jackson??!!! I don't see him as a techno-loner/strike out king (with women.) Seems more like a command officer.

dear lord. as an avid 'star trek tng` fan, this is crazy $hit. guess i`m used to the way things are, `cause i like the cast the way it was. also, wesley as a chick would probably have been even more annoying.

Am I the only one who would have thought Wesley Snipes would have made Star Trek TNG about a THOUSAND times more awesome?
MORE ST:TNG fun facts...
Brent Spiner was a last minute addition to the cast as Data. Data was originally meant to be a chief science officer like Spock was in the original series, only the blue uniform clashed with the android makeup, so they changed his position so he'd wear a yellow uniform.
Wesley Crusher (played by Wil Wheaton) was originally meant to be a girl`s role, named LESLIE Crusher.
Geordi`s visor was originally crafted from a automotive air filter and a hair band.
The teleporter effect was created by overlaying footage of glitter being stirred in a glass of water over the original shot, then transitioning to a second shot of the empty transporter.
Worf`s head piece was changed at the beginning of season 2 because the original was stolen. Michael Dorn spent 2 hours in makeup for each taping.
