(Seriously, why does Hammond like Zondas?)
Apart from the fact that they're excellent supercars, it`s the ostentatious styling inside and out. Some supercars are quite restrained in their appearance, with elegant, refined interiors. Zondas are gleefully unrestrained in their appearance inside and out, with "I am a sci-fi spaceship" design. Hammond likes that exuberance. Supercars are toys and he likes his to remind him of being 10 because something that would have made him say "Wow, awesome!" when he was 10 will make him grin and laugh today.

My girlfriend is not a car enthusiast and doesn't like the show....but she doesn`t understand the relationships between the hosts and their quirks (Seriously, why does Hammond like Zondas?)

OLD friggin Episode.
I think James May still had GREAT NEWS concerning the Dacia Sandero back then...haha
For all who think this car is amazing, you are right, but this is the first model reviewed on the show, I believe it is the CCR (correct me if I'm wrong) and the newer faster one the Stig crashed was the CCX (was it not? Or was it the CCX-R which he had a spoiler added?)
Whatever. I have watched the show so much I actually, accidentally say "bonnet" and "boot" when referring to the hood and the trunk....I Love re-watching old episodes.

Top Gear is one of the best shows on TV. Even for the non-car enthusiast, you will love this show.
Just make sure you pirate the original, as shown in the UK. Versions edited for showing abroad are always worse in some way. The music is often badly done (as in this case) and bits of the program are sometimes removed to make space for adverts. The original is a full hour long.
The producer of Top Gear has repeatedly referred to the many people (especially in the USA) who pirate Top Gear and understands why they do it. The Top Gear website jokes about how the pirate copies are available five minutes after the original program ends. The producer has referred to the Final Gear website, which has torrents for every episode of Top Gear.
