I know it's sad but when I saw your comment I had to make an account and say that sadly, you`re wrong =P
Its called symbiosis when things work together and things like that. Of course you won`t see a "lion cooperated with a gazelle" but thats because the examples you gave were all predator and prey. I`m doing a project on symbiosis which is the only reason I know the word haha, but check it out anyway. `Symbiosis in the animal kingdom` on google would probably show something.

@Elderban: That's not strictly true. Coyotes often hunt with badgers for praire dogs and are more sucessful with a badger as a partner than either alone or with another coyote. Though once the meal is caugt neither tends to share.

Animals do not have morals, but they do have feelings. And, yes, they do cooperate, only with their own species though. Can you tell me the last time time that a lion cooperated with a gazelle, or an alligator cooperated with a duck, or when you cooperated with the cow that became the hamburger that is on your plate? I doubt it.
