Maps - Yes, you are right, I was being a little flippant with the word proves, but genetically we are fairly close to mice, which is why they are often tested on before whatever it is is released to the public. But I meant that if there is a gene in mice that makes them straight or gay, then there is a good chance there is one in humans, and all animals. Just because I didn't explicitly state it doesn`t mean it wasn`t intended in the argument I was making.

It doesn't "prove" anything, Matwix. Only someone completely unfamiliar with genetics, psychology, and neuroscience would take a five paragraph long article obviously written for an audience of laymen, and with the disclaimer "While oestrogen masculinises the brain in mice, it does not have the same effect on humans", and have the arrogance to use the word "proves" so flippantly. In all likelihood homosexuality is influenced by both genetics and environment.
