" "Someone i know waited 4 hours on release day upgraded their contract to £40 a month going into their overdraft and is locked in for 24 months. dumb eejdit people like him make me wish sometimes we didnt have support systems for under privileged students. Spending my tax money on this crap."

This is the problem with a socialist, nanny economy exactly."

No, thats the problem with poorly implemented systems. It's like getting a pool installed by a guy out of his car for five bucks, your gonna get a leak.

"why do people hate apple?"

It's simple Dave. While their products are occasionally neat, the company has an unfortunate reputation for developing a fan base which would now quite literally kill for their products. Also, just about every underhanded technique has been employed by them at some point, carefully planned obsolescence, staggering of advancements, deceptive bundling, misleading claims (i.e. see recent right-hand reception), and the ridiculous prices.

Not to say ALL Apple products are terrible (I have an iPod), just that the company is too open about its screwing with people who are too addicted to the products to care/notice. Hope that helped a bit!

Seems a little long to me. I think I'll just stick with my 3G. It works just fine and does everything I need it to do.
