Isnt that the point. With a thinner liquid succesfully separating, it would be easy to assume that a thicker liquid would be easier to separate....Oddly though, while the oil separates from the water....methane dissovles into water. Is anything being done or reasearched to possibly stem the spread of O2-less zones due to methane saturation?
