I live in Elliot Lake, Ontario - Bear country. Not to mention mountain lions, deers, elk, wild cats, turkey vultures, linx, wolf and much more. Any idiot simpleton in EL knows you don't treat a wild animal like a domestic animal no matter how "cute" they look. Person behind the vid cam should be sent out in earth tone colors and antlers strapped to her head during hunting season for being such a dumb arse. Honestly, what did she really think would happen?

bustamovexxx Are you serious? I live in the midwest and see deer in my back yard all the time and I live in a city. As for why the mother "Let" the fawn wander into the neighborhood, How do you know that? None of us can see how the Fawn got their to begin with. Have you thought maybe the Fawn ran away from its mother and the mother came looking for him/her? Happens humans all the time.
As for the idiots with the Video, Firstly the deer is wild so letting any domestic animal near them is the work of a simpleton. First they let their cat follow the fawn and then it seems their dog is let roam loose on the street. Serves them right the mother deer was protecting its young plain and simple. Doesn't matter if its the woods or the neighborhood. Remember wild animals were on this planet long before humans.
One does hope the dog and cat or ok but lesson learnt by the owners. Make sure your pets are accounted for.

lpycb42...your arrogance in all fo this strikes a nerve. the mom deer WAS stupid, if she was SOOO protective why wasn't she there at the beginning of the video? why is she bringing her fawn into a neighborhood? worried about the baby`s future? the mom deer brought it there, and it was nearly under a car. thats a stupid deer, don`t stand up for it.
the lesson that needs learned is that the next time that deer could attack a dog could be it`s last, i know PLENTY of people who are more than willing to shoot that damn thing in the head including me if it EVER went after my dog. she can protect her baby? fine, i`ll protect my pet.
