Rizel, Actually it would be evaporation not sublimation. sublimation occurs when a solid transforms to a gas skipping the liquid phase. sorry to be the smartass...

ayme it's not about them not cleaning up after themselves it`s that they`re so incredibly selfish about it. Rather than just close up the well permanently they`re so profit-obsessed(this "accident" wouldn`t have happened if they followed the expensive safety regulations instead of paying off all the inspectors) that they`d rather destroy miles and miles of nature and kill hundreds of thousands of living things to save whatever oil they can salvage...

I don't see how anyone can say that BP is totally in the clear until the criminal investigation is over. They did withhold how big the oil spill was originally and they also filled out their own "government" inspections.

Also just because BP has spent some money on the clean up doesn`t mean that they`re not selfish. On the contrary I believe that they spent that money because they felt it was in their best interest to do so.
