@Ruswut, i just ment they arnt dangerous at the density they are found in the atmosphere. your right that any long term exposure to higher density silcates will cause irritation of the lungs and possible silicosis.

pretty neat how bodies of water affect atmospheric conditions.... i live by a fairly large lake and some days it will rain all over the city but my neighborhood stays dry....

Skys are clear blue here in england yet no plane can leave or arrive here because of it.
