You really should catch a flight out here dude if you like real ale. It's our national pastime. We have so many CAMERA pubs in my town it`s never hard to find a great pint.

Thanks for the tip Handsompod - and the 'frat boy dollar` is luckily becoming less and less a determining factor in the mainstream beer selection here in America. Even local grocery outlets have been carrying names like Chimay and Duvel for a couple years now, and dozens of American micro-brews have been making headway enough for their prices to rise by at least 40% over the same period. Makes me less inclined to turn new people on, come to think of it! But vanguard establishments like the Yard House definitely have it on tap, along with hundreds of other even Headier varieties. As long as the fratboys keep their dollars on the `just right taste` of less demanding and commercially acceptable selections, we will still be able to enjoy quality brew at an affordable price.
Thanks for the tip though - I`ve yet to try that one (I`m not much into blondes unless they have something else going for them, but as an Ale it might be interesting).
