Um... these are different questions, as in, "Do you believe Omaba is XXX", Yes/No, it could also be a "Click all that apply" and then the answers are summed based on the number of yes's. This is done all the time in surveys.

This is not fuzzy math, or even bad methodology. They assumed that the viewers would understand that these were not either/or type of totals.

Obviously the categories are not exclusive. Why would you expect them to be? If a Republican believes Obama is a Muslim, wouldn't that same Republican also likely believe he was not born in the United States?
